Finally! Getting Caught Up!

Wow, it's hard to believe it's been so long since I've updated my blog. I've been so caught up in baby stuff and now I'm heading to the hospital tomorrow night to get the process underway. Where does the time go??? Here are my photos since I last blogged. The next photos will be of the new little bambino!

Day 97: Here's the baby outfit Julian helped me pick out while he was home on spring break.

Day 98: Wow, this was a memorable day. This was my first day of testing and meeting with the perinatal high risk pregnancy specialists. It was the beginning of twice weekly testing on the baby to make sure the little one doesn't develop anemia from the parvovirus. I was hooked up for a non-stress test after having a surprise amniocentesis. Fun times.

Day 99: My mom went to the hospital gift shop during my long appointment to buy the baby's piggy bank. She has bought each of my kids a special, funky, adorable bank. Julian has a giraffe and Vincent has a frog. The baby's getting this cute elephant!

Day 100: A photo of my facebook update, now knowing that no matter what, my baby will be delivered early.

Day 101: The kids had a blast dying eggs the day before Easter!

Day 102: Easter morning...

Day 103: Here's where I've been going twice a week for testing...

Day 104: The boys had a blast playing with bubbles at Natalie's on a beautiful spring day!

Day 105: I went out and bought a few neutral newborn outfits so I'll be ready!

Day 106: Our first flowers of the season! We played outside before dinner in the warm spring sun.

Day 107: I picked up Dairy Queen treats on the way home from school, which we enjoyed on the front steps. Yum!

Day 108: The boys earned a special reward for going to sleep so nicely several days in a row. We took them to Underwater Adventures at the Mall of America for the first time. They loved it.

Day 109: A wonderful dinner out with good friends Libby and Natalie to a Mexican restaurant. It was my last girls night out before the baby arrives! After we went to Katie's for dessert. Thanks, chicas!

Day 110: Mark came with me to my testing this morning. I will take a picture of this day's ultrasounds photos, but haven't done it yet!

Day 111: I was able to buy a used bouncy seat and Baby Bjorn front carrier from a friend. I still need to take a photo...

Day 112: Happy Earth Day! Julian got to wear his special school Earth Day shirt to school today.

Day 113: One of Julian's favorite things to do is play with the junk mail that Mark and I are going to recycle. He loves to draw on them, cut them, glue them. Simple pleasures!

Day 114: Happy Arbor Day! Our little tree is budding and leafing out. I love it!

Day 115: Couple's night out with friends. We try to meet with them once a month, but I think it's been since December. Yikes! It was a lot of fun to get out once more before the baby's arrival.

Day 116: Vincent being goofy at Grandma Ruth's birthday party. It was fun.

Day 117: My ultrasonographer surprised me today with some 3D images of my sweetie. Amazing! (By the way, how sad is it that I can say I have my own ultrasonographer?!)

Day 118: It was Daddy's turn to read bedtime stories. Cute!

Day 119: My last baby supplies arrived at my doorstep today. A large swaddling blanket and a nursing cover.

Day 120: I'm 37 weeks today!

Day 121: For May Day, we received two fun little goody "baskets" from our friends. Thanks for the treats, Natalie and Katie!

Day 122: Last night was the annual auction and gala to benefit Julian's school. It was a long and late night, but very fun. Mark and I ended up winning several items. Many gift certificates, as well as the framed pieces pictured here. This truly was our last night out together before the birth!

Day 123: Tonight I had Mark take my picture with my two sweet boys at bedtime. It made me a little sad to think soon they'll have to share my lap with a third kid. Yowza!
