Sweet Baby Face, Minivan, Baby Gear, and School Poster

Day 93: On Friday I was thrown for another loop when my doctor called to tell me that my blood results were in and that I indeed do have the same virus my son had (Parvovirus B19, or 5th Disease). No wonder I haven't been feeling well! The virus is fairly benign for kids (and adults), but can be dangerous to the fetus. It's unlikely, but the fetus could develop anemia, in which case they would deliver me early. So from now until the baby is born, I need weekly ultrasounds to carefully monitor the baby. I'm including the ultrasound of the sweet face of my baby that was done a week ago. I love this picture so much and can't wait to meet this adorable little person!

Day 94: I finally took some photos of our new minivan that we purchased Monday evening.

Day 95: On Sunday evening we picked up the baby gear from my friend that I had given her for her baby over a year ago. I honestly never expected to see it all again, but she was kind enough to give it back to me since we have this little surprise baby making an appearance soon! Thanks, Julie!

Day 96: Julian is "Star of the Week" this week in his kindergarten class. (Each child has a turn.) We had to make a poster with certain pictures and he presented it to his class today. The class and teacher asked him questions in French and he had to answer them and talk about his poster in French. Great practice! (For those who don't know, he attends a French Immersion school.)

Spring Break Week

Although I've been taking my daily photos, I haven't been good about posting them this week -- oops. Julian's home on spring break this week, we bought a new minivan to get ready for the baby, I've been a little under the weather (but feeling better now) and it seems I've done a lot of running around. Here are the photos since I last posted on Friday.

Day 87: It became very clear to us on Saturday that Julian has 5th Disease (Parvovirus B19), something that he caught from a classmate. Here are his "slapped cheeks" rash, and of course Vincent wanted a photo, too. He's very into closing his eyes and being silly for the camera.

Day 88: While Vincent napped on Sunday Mark, Julian and I cleaned out my beloved hibiscus red Audi A4 getting ready to trade it in at the car dealership. Julian loves helping us clean as a family (like the car or garage).

Day 89: Monday night after Mark got home from work, we went and bought our new minivan, a dark blue 2009 Honda Odyssey. It was too dark that night to take a picture (and too rainy/snowy this week). I'll get a good picture before the week is over and post it. I said goodbye to my car (I'm still not over it and miss it very much!) and am still getting to know the minivan, which the kids think is the coolest thing ever! We went to the Olive Garden to eat a late dinner after buying our new vehicle.

Day 90: Tuesday morning I had to go to the clinic to get my blood drawn and tested for 5th disease. (If I have it, they'll monitor the baby closely.) After leaving the clinic I took the kids next door to Central Park, a nice indoor park. We visited the library and Lookout Ridge, and fun indoor play area for kids. We also had lunch there.

Day 91: The kids and I met Grandma Rachael for lunch at Chili's after picking up Vincent from preschool.

Day 92: Today the kids and I picked up Mark from work and went out to lunch at a place called Cupcake. The boys loved seeing Daddy's office! I got us each a cupcake to bring home for later, so that's the only photo I took today.
